Celebrate Earth Month by welcoming back our friends from “People Inside Electronics” for the return of “Plantamonium,” an outdoor concert celebrating Mort Garson’s 1976 cult classic album Plantasia!
Originally subtitled “warm earth music for plants…and the people who love them,” Plantasia was composed entirely with the Moog synthesizer and was only available with the purchase of a plant from Mother Earth on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles, or with the purchase of a Simmons mattress from Sears. Though it flew under the radar for decades, it’s since become a beloved icon of early electronic music.
Set in the beautiful natural surroundings of TreePeople in Coldwater Canyon Park, “Plantamonium” will feature live performances of various tracks from Plantasia alongside original works inspired by the album, written and performed by the members of People Inside Electronics.
*Please note this venue is at our outdoor amphitheatre down two flights of stairs. If you require ADA assistance, you must email events@treepeople.org by 4/10/26*
